TWCE

Trevor Wood is the Managing Director of TWCE Conservation Engineers based in Ballinasloe, having recently relocated from Wicklow Town. He has over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry. Over this time, he has built up significant in-depth knowledge of conservation in both the Civil Engineering and Building sectors of the industry.

Prior to forming his own consultancy, Trevor was an Associate Director within Scott Wilson PLC (formerly URS, now AECOM) and was responsible for the Southern Ireland operation of the Structural Engineering aspect of the business.

Trevor has a keen interest in Conservation Engineering and promoting the Civil Engineering profession. In relation to this he is currently one of a limited number of conservation accredited engineers in Ireland, as well as the current vice-chairman of the conservation group within Engineers Ireland promoting the uptake of CARE, the registration body for conservation engineers. He has also spent two three-year terms as Chair of the Institution of Civil Engineers Republic of Ireland Region.
